Leonard developed an interest in real estate early in his career as a federal transportation official. He purchased several homes in various areas of the United States and became excited about becoming an agent and beyond. In 2004 Leonard became licensed in Ohio where he represented Carleton Realty, LLC as a Sales Associate and Property Manager. Leonard remains licensed in Ohio with Carleton Realty, LLC. After another permanent move to Florida, one he considers a final move, he immediately became licensed and joined NextHome Advisors.
Leonard specializes in residential real estate in SWFL's Charlotte, Collier and Lee counties. He has a history of delivering superior service before, during and after your transaction and selected commitment, honesty, expertise and professionalism as the cornerstone of his business.
A native of Washington County Texas, Leonard was always very interested in other cultures and what the rest of the world was like. He made Geography and Literature his favorite subjects. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering and completed graduate studies in Engineering Administration and Public Administration. Over his career outside real estate, Leonard has lived in eight States (two more than once) and traveled to Canada, Hungary, Ireland and Mexico. He is a member of the Realtors® Association of Greater Ft. Myers and The Beach, Florida REALTORS Association and the National Association of REALTORS.
Leonard believes diversity of experience, knowledge, honesty, integrity and drive provide him with a solid foundation to serve his clients in all facets of residential real estate.
When he has some free time, Leonard loves to cook something out of the ordinary for the family, read, and practice photography. He also participates in the New Residents Club (NRC) of Cape Coral where he recently held a Board position (photographer) and contributed many hours to the construction of the NRC sponsored cardboard boat for the Annual Regatta.
